The total annual revenue for the casinos increased nearly 3.4% in 2011 relative to 2010. This continues an upward trend from previous years. In December 2011, the casinos posted a 10% increase in gaming revenues compared to the same month in 2010.

MGM Grand Detroit posted a 6.5% increase from 2010 with MotorCity Casino and Greektown Casino posting a 5.1% and 24.5% increases from 2010, respectively. MGM Grand Detroit continues to maintain the largest market share among the three Detroit commercial casinos with a total gaming revenue in December 2011 of slightly less than $52.3 million.
